-Session 1
-Out of the pan, into the deep fried pickle
-The Agents investigated various issues in the city and settled small disputes, such as with a deep fried pickle stand.
-During their investigations, the Agents saw the Graveraker machine disappear out of thin air, with no knowledge of how it occurred beyond small amounts of chaos magic.
-Thanks to a lucky Perception roll, the Agents saw a small amount of warpweave.
-Session 2 (11/7/2025)
-Missing Wine Merchant
-The Agents receive reports of a bait and switch concerning a high quality wine. While investigating, the Agents encountered a few contacts in the taverns in the Docks district. While some of the wine was recovered, most of it was lost and the wine merchant Anastatia was never found. Only a mysterious bit of information that she was “looking for lodging” in the hotel district, thus would have been traveling through the coins district when she disappeared.
-Session 3: 11/14/2025
-Wizard Payments and Deferrals
-The Agents find themselves tasked with evicting a wizard behind on payments. Upon approaching the wizard tower, they discover the wizard (kemeneles) and his apprentice (Eunice) are missing. Undergoing experiments on ooze's, Kemeneles attempted to use an ooze to grow wheat. But, it failed, resulting in poisonous beer. The Agents destroyed the booze ooze and discovered notes from the wizard that he was seeking lodging near the coins district.
-While arriving back in the city, the agents were informed that Eunice was discovered. He had barricaded himself in a wizard shop, proclaiming that the owner (miran) was the sworn rival of kemeneles and had kidnapped him. Miran, having little to no clue who this man was (he was a student of little note in the university who had a crush on her, but she accidentally ignored him, thus beginning his life long hatred of her).
-The agents discovered a new lead. Two people have gone missing in the coins district looking for lodging and the Agents discovered the name of the bank the wizard kept an account at.
-Session 4: 11/21/2025
-Panic at the Zoo
-As the Agents come into work a bit late after a night at the tavern, the group finds the office abuzz with people running to and fro. Between the missing Graveraker, the now stacking pile of missing persons reports, and the overflowing number of petty crimes from the upcoming festival, a call comes in that an outbreak has happened at Knight’s Marvelous Menagerie.
-After taking care of several civilians and attempting to protect various animals, the Agents discover a few key things.
-One, the owner and the veterinarian have gone missing (roughly 3 days) prior to the events at the zoo (see line of inquiries for their names).
-Two, the attack was deliberate. The water line to the zoo is accessible from the undercity and would only target the animals at said zoo.
-The chemical reagent was crafted likely using some sort of magic to get it to go through chemical decomposition extremely quickly. Meaning, the creator favored hiding their trail over any long term side effects on the animals.
-Experiment? Planning something bigger? Maybe a diluted demonstration for a potential buyer?
-(note for GM: did not finish bottom right of map nor the after zoo break down with the press)
-Chapter 2
-November 28th, 2025
-The "Red" Kobold
-The Agents of Edgewatch have finished up the zoo event. They have discovered that the zoo owner, Mr. Knight, and the veterinarian were having an affair. And, during this affair, they were going off to some sort of love hotel during the time when they disappeared. This is now the 3rd confirmed missing person related to finding cheap / quick lodging in the city.
-The Agents also got to meet Layton Bryne, from Eyes on Absalom. They decided to focus more on spreading information on the missing zoo keeper to attempt to start rumors to find out where he went.
-Following this up (1 week in game time), the Agents were called in to talk to Ama Uomi concerning a labor dispute. The Agents learned that Ama has been so overworked due to the poor shipment of lumber (note: Due to underworld Lore, the Agents know that this lumber was supplied via Jeremin Hoff, see below), she has been unable to pay her workers. A foreign adversary group (likely the Warhounders, an anti-human revolutionary group) took the opportunity to take over the construction site and take various human hostages. The Agents left off moving into this location.
-December 5th, 2025
-The Agents have solved the issue with the red kobold and prevented any serious fire damage, something that Ama was deeply appreciative of.
-More importantly, the Agents have gained entry into the House of Planes, a seedy bar in the undercity ruled over by Jeremin Hoff.
-Chapter 3
-December 12th / 26th, 2025
-The Agents have discovered a few leads. Since I forgot to type this up and am doing this from memory, but these should be the big things.
-Several prostitutes have gone missing
-Money laundering has been going on through the docks district.
-All information points to Hendrid Prachett being the one who is behind the missing people.
-Chapter 4
-January 2nd, 2026
-The Agents, having discovered the Devil at the Dreaming Palace, have captured him and prevented his ability to make a name for himself and gain infamy. Working room by room, the Agents mostly successfully, saved the various civilians in the hotel.
-In terms of ending, the ending is the good ending. The two culprits were caught before they could escape the hotel and most civilians escaped. Eyes on Absalom covered the hotel incident and, largely, lied about it to cover up the cult activity. Instead, the newspaper focused heavily on the heroes who, despite great opposition from other police officers, saved the civilians to great risk of personal injury.

-January 9th, 2026
-As the Agents come back to the pricinct, they are becoming heroes of the common folk. Yet, distrust grows more and more between the common folk and the police force (excluding the Agents). This divide creates an unease, a sense that the police cannot be trusted, something that Eyes on Absalom are more than willing to exploit. Newspapers all around Absalom jump between praising the Agents and condemning the inaction of the Token Guard (coin district guards) that led to the deaths of so many people. Yet, what all the newspapers seem to be missing is the why the murders took place. Instead of a sensationalist serial killer cult, it is a subdued ring of thieves. Run of the mill. Just believable enough that people don't second-guess what the newspapers say (something the police are all too willing to embrace as to acknowledge that the Skinsaws are back would cause widespread panic and only further fuel potential copycats). In game terms, this means that interacting with other police officers will generate potential problems / they may not be willing to work with you. But, the general people (especially the downtrodden / underrepresented people) will be more willing to work with you and help you.
-Over the last few weeks (between books 1 and 2), Sergeant Ollo has been hard at work double and triple checking the various documents. All things point to a single conclusion. A conclusion that neither he nor the top brass wish to acknowledge. Somebody, or more likely an organization, wanted this serial killer to operate in the city. The housing violations are too plentiful. The construction too expensive. The traps and exotic creatures too eye-catching. Hendrid Pratchett had help and a lot of it. It is just impossible for this to be a two-man operation.
-Because of this, the Agents, along with Sergeant Ollo (and eventually Corporal Kerr Batiste, but I keep forgetting she's supposed to show up to help on the religious side of things as the Agents already have a cleric), have been tasked with investigating money laundering in the hopes that it will lead to whomever (or whatever) was funding the serial killings. Due to police informants, along with just general murmurings that the Agents have overheard, the Agents picked up a lead concerning a potential massive amount of money laundering that will occur in the Coins district.
-After investigating various locations, the Agents discovered a few key point
-  - Whomever is funding all of this criminal activity is looking to buy chemicals. Lots of them. This is a potential confirmation that the chemical attack on the Zoo may actually be connected with the serial killings
-  - Somebody is calling themselves the Skinsaw cult (even though they haven't been seen in over a hundred years in Absalom) and looking to launder a large amount of money
-  - Most gangs are refusing to work with them (it's a crazy cult)
-  - An undercover informant tipped off the Agents of an upcoming Bank Heist
-  - The culprits are using greasepaint to disguise themselves so they can walk and operate in plain sight.
-  - The potential bank heist group stole a very sturdy device for lifting
-  - The bank heist will likely occur during the upcoming float parade
-  - Somebody in the docks might have info on a fake ledger in a fake globe on their desk.
