The storm passed over her house, flooding it and destroying her books, her food, and all that she owned. But, her house stood, for it was as strong as its owner.//
-This story is often taught as a lesson about how the strong should bear the brunt of troubles or how those in leadership should choose to sacrifice things instead of ruining special events or hurting people. Fewer still may teach this as a parable of the importance of letting nature take its course instead of trying to fully stop it, that bad things do happen to good people.
