Spire Dormitory is where you all call home. Spire Dormitory is an open, airy building with several comfortable couches and beautiful mosaics. Four tall spires surround the building, two to the north and two to the south. At 70 feet high, these spires stand much taller than the double‑story dormitory. Open construction allows ample light during daylight hours (all dorm rooms facing the outside have open windows not shown on the map), and lanterns hang in each room to provide light at night. Ceilings are 10 feet tall throughout, and the sturdy wooden doors latch from the inside (some students have, at their expense, installed locks). Each dorm room has mosaic floors and a university‑provided bed, desk, and chest. Some chambers originally served different purposes and were only later converted into residences, so some rooms are larger than others; this discrepancy is a point of minor contention between the students in residence.

Special features:

• Each grouping of rooms is named after a precious stone. Stones that start with A for the first floor and stones with B for the second floor. Each room is numbered according to order of encounter, starting at 1 with the door closest to the central hub of the dormitory.
• Each grouping of rooms has access to warm magically heated baths. These baths are gender-neutral.
• Next to the baths are bathrooms.
• In the far corner of the dormitory are the two laundry rooms.
• In the front of the dorm is a student garden where you can grow various flowers, herbs, or even poisons as part of class studies or personal projects.
• In the back of the dorm is a pond and resting area with magical frogs and lizards. These are spellskein frogs.
• On the second floor are two extra rooms. These are storage rooms for long-term storage of student projects or various dorm supplies (such as cleaning supplies or tools for repairing objects and counts for any requirements for crafting outside of metal objects).
• The other room is filled with various broken parts as this room was originally supposed to be a student room but a student attempted to use magic to clean the room and broke everything instead.
• The second half of the top floor is filled with training areas for archery, magical spells, and knife throwing. There are two altars with magical wards for sparring practice. In the middle of the two altars is the special jumping pad that can launch you almost anywhere on campus with no fall damage.
• There are also two areas for relaxation. One is mostly used for sunbathing and has a magically refreshing spring of water. The other has a small fireplace for cooking vegetables and meats. Due to heavy rainfall, most of the equipment is taken inside and put in storage during the summer months.
