This library and museum had a very close call with a stage accident resulting in a bad fire. While the fire was contained, having so many books and stories in the same building as the drama performances (where students are encouraged to use magic to enhance their storytelling) was too risky. Some books are still kept here, but most have been moved to the Heron Archives.

Prior to moving around, Tree Stump Library was supposed to be the library on primal magic and nature. Archhorn Library for divine magic, history, architecture, and everything related to people. Heron Archives was for arcane magic and general magical studies and theories. The Between was, and still does, contain many books on the occult, planar studies, and spirits. Due to two libraries being damaged, and the increased focus on practical studies, Heron Archives serves as a central library for basic studies for all first and second year students while advanced books are kept in The Between or are held by teachers in their offices to be handed out to students who request it for a class project.
