Plot Points

There's a possibility someone is purposefully using high-level magic to invade the college grounds with beetles, to get past the magic barrier. It's odd, though, that our past venture underground and this one has lead us to the water supply - the past venture had a witch who tried to raise the water levels, and the current fight used the rain to force the beetles out in our direction. What's more, the beetles seem focused on attacking the students, purposefully.

• When investigating the Grippli they slip away too often
• Froglegs (local crime lord) named by reagent peddler

• They ARE domesticated, but Griffins are notooriously hard to domesticate
• Visiting Oba's Wondrous Creatures
• “Students” had been there before the animals broke out of their cages
  • The two lizardfolk we killed??
• Animals are a bit unkempt, not enough meat!!
• Cages:
  • Locks have been attempted lockpicked
  • Hit by a spell that made them go crazy
• Debt: Uni always pays on time

• Ten magic warriors formed a second secret school (rumor up north)
• Tribe who are decendants of these students claim to give sentience to the masks
• You can never take off the masks in the presence of anyone else
• Tribe lives near the big storm of magic at the time of Jetembe

• or… Are there other people controlling the mask as a vessel?

• Traitor amongst us: shaping university stone is ILLEGAL BY MAGIC, but someone has shaped the stone in our first dungeon. They'd need a 9th level dispell magic spell.
