She has a particular distaste for authority and forced choice, and is pulled towards that which is seen as misunderstood or strange. They are often seen hanging around with their familiar, learning spells, or crafting potions.

Taking the name Morthril, Yvie's familiar is a reflection of her magic and relationship with their patron. It is unknown where Morthril came from, it simply appeared one day to Yvie and they have travelled together since.
